The Introduction is the voice of his brother, the late great Hotrod Skm, fellow label-mate and co-founder of SKM. In a Louisiana restaurant, Hotrod inducts his live audience into his current state of mind 4 days before his passing. NO REMORSE brings the post-BLOOD SHED artists’ silence to an end. TC Gambino, the Nigerian-American star from Huntsville Alabama, delivers his 4th full length project. He narrates street experiences through inaugural cadences and dynamic melodies.
The self-titled opening track “Chima” conveys a more personal Gambino. The artist is unreserved about his endurance of the passing of fellow loved ones. On “Rope” TC seals the gap between singers and rappers, while he expresses how music saved him from the streets, but created a bigger distance between him and his friends.
We hear the Smooth Criminal in un-conceiving ways, given that he worked with up-surging producer Vill Vision on seven out of the fifth teen- track project. Standout tracks like “FIFA” finds the MC soaring over the hypnotic sounds of EA also co-producer. On “Ghetto” he revisits a time when he had to light candles when he didn’t have electricity. NO REMORSE confirms the evolution of him as a musical artist and prominent masterpiece composer.
